Mari Thomas is an award winning designer jeweller with credits that include the Gold medal for Craft and Design at the National Eisteddfod of Wales. She was commissioned to make the prestigious crown for the National Eisteddod in 2006 and again in 2007, and to design collections for many important institutions including the National Library of Wales.
In addition to co-owning and running the Palterman & Thomas Gallery in Swansea, she produces several distinctive collections. Exhibited in Sieraad Art Fair in 2009 are pieces from "Cofio" and "Decorative Concept" series which feature scripts of poetry in the Welsh language.
